The hotel cancelled my reservation as I was sitting in my truck in their parking lot, 38 minutes before check-in at 2pm. I will copy paste the message below. Also I have called expedite no less than five times trying to get my money refunded. And I am still trying. So DO NOT go to this hotel. This place is the greatest hidden gem of the Northwood. Make sure you book it. We are already planning our return trip this winter.

The rooms are clean and breakfast was just enough. Although the property is minimally maintained and the staff is nice, the smell of the place is not the most pleasant. Maybe due to the cleaning products that are used. There also is no elevator.

Nice property. Kind of on your own between 7 pm and 8 am. Small dated room. Tight squeeze for two but location was great.

Very comfortable and nice breakfast selection. My only complaint would be the pool has some lights out (in the pool) which makes it appear to be dirty, but it’s not.
